The first
Cuckoo was made in Schwarzvald - the Black Forest
in 1750 by Mr. Franz Anton Ketterer from the village
called Schönwald.
Tradition
has it that the Back Forest brings good luck and whoever
listens to these beautiful clocks does indeed acquires
an overwhelming feeling of happiness.
The clocks
are made in the old tradition. They are works of art.
Most of them are still being made by hand and the
deep carvings on selected wood from the Black Forest
really make them fascinating.
