A close examination of the back plate. Wear on pivot holes show excessive use of oil which the client that would solve his problems. The facts show that oiling and / or spraying dirty clock movements produces undesirable results.
Consequently, a professional clock repairer must thoroughly clean the pivot holes and apply bushes as and where necessary to restore to working order.

This kind of spray, widely applied in domestic uses, is NOT suitable for clock mechanisms and caused more damage that one thinks. |
